Bloomberg Law and SCOTUSblog are teaming up to offer cash prizes to law students in their Supreme Court Challenge contest. The contest details from SCOTUSblog -- registration due by February 28, 2013:
This competition will give teams of law students the opportunity to predict the outcomes of six merits cases and six petitions for certiorari being considered by the Court in March. Prizes will be awarded to the three student teams with the most points as follows:
- First prize is a minimum of $3,500, with an additional $1,500 awarded if you can also beat our team here at SCOTUSblog.
- Second prize is $1,500, with an additional $1,000 for beating the SCOTUSblog team.
- Third prize is $1,000, with an additional $500 for beating the SCOTUSblog team.
