Salem Press maintains a great page on its website with amusing and puzzling reference questions, most of which were asked at public and school libraries. My favorites: "I need a book that tells me how to make my own false teeth," "Do you have anything on post-mortem depression?," and "How many people have died and gone to hell in the past year?" There's even a law library reference desk question submitted by our colleague at UC Hastings, Susan Nevelow Mart: "How can I find this case I think there was about me, but I wasn't there because they said I was dead, but I'm not?"
