Lawsuits Against Bloggers

The Media Law Resource Center has created a list of all of the libel lawsuits filed against bloggers in United States jurisdictions (foreign jurisdictions aren't included).  According to the list, the first victorious U.S. plaintiff in a libel suit against a blogger is Florida attorney Rafe Banks III.  A jury awarded Banks $50,000 in damages after blogger David Milum accused the attorney of delivering bribes from drug dealers to a local judge on his blog.
